Martus Integration Overview

Martus is a budgeting, forecasting, and reporting platform that connects with external financial systems to bring real-time actuals into the budgeting environment — eliminating manual imports and spreadsheet chaos.

Martus integrates with more than 20 ERP and accounting systems — from Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Dynamics to legacy platforms like Blackbaud, MIP, and Sage 300 — via APIs or file-based connectors.
• Real-Time Financial Data Sync
Martus connects with your existing accounting or ERP system to pull in actual general ledger data so budgets and forecasts always reflect current financials.
• Dimensions Sync
Chart of accounts, departments, locations, and other financial dimensions can sync between Martus and your financial system to ensure consistency in reporting and planning.
• API + File-Based Integrations
Martus supports direct API integrations where available and file-based integration (e.g., import connectors) for systems without APIs
Major ERPs & Accounting Tools
Sage Intacct — Full integration with real-time actuals and dimension sync, including nightly updates. Sage Intacct Marketplace
QuickBooks (Online & Desktop) — Connects financials for actuals and budgeting comparisons. Martus Solutions
NetSuite — Integration available (SuiteApp and direct data sync). SuiteApp
Microsoft Dynamics (e.g., Great Plains / Business Central) — Supported through API or file-based connectors. Martus Solutions
Acumatica — Included among supported ERP tools. Martus Solutions
Blackbaud Financial Edge / ACS Realm / Fund EZ / Aplos — File-based integrations. Martus Solutions
Sage 100 / Sage 200 / Sage 300 / Sage 50 — File-based import support. Martus Solutions
Account CS / MIP Server / MYOB / Solomon — Supported via file-based options.
Shared Integration Capabilities
Sync chart of accounts and dimensions with connected financial systems
Pull actual general ledger activity into Martus
Drill down into transaction detail (where supported)
Some systems allow direct budget pushes/pulls between Martus and the ERP (e.g., Sage Intacct, certain QuickBooks setups)
Support for multi-entity and multi-currency planning varies by system and Martus license level
What Martus Does Not Typically Integrate With
HR/Payroll/HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Paylocity) — There’s no publicly documented native integration specifically for employee payroll or HR systems; salary data is usually managed via the accounting system or manual import. Martus Solutions
Specialized CRM, procurement, billing, or expense systems — Unless those tools feed financial data into a supported ERP or ledger, integration usually requires custom exports/imports or middleware.
How It Works in Practice
1. Connect your ERP/accounting system (via API or file import)
2. Sync chart of accounts & dimensions
3. Pull actuals periodically (often nightly by default)
4. Budget and forecast in Martus using live data
5. (Optional) Export budgets back into ERP/GL where supported
